About Us
CG Wood Crafts is an online and at market business. We specialise in creating wooden gifts and home wares in our Staffordshire workshop using a range of wood crafting techniques. You can find us out and about at artisan markets and crafts fairs across Staffordshire & Derbyshire.
We have an eco-conscious approach to making where we aim to make sure that every usable piece, spare bit, off cut, chunk, block, slab, branch and log is put to good use and turned into something beautiful. Nothing goes to waste.

Eco-conscious
“More makes, less waste” is our ethos. Every usable scrap, small piece, whoops, log, branch, chunk or slab is used – the makes just get smaller until the usable bits are all used up.
We source materials as locally as possible even if it means trudging though mud to chop, haul and process it ourselves.
Plastic free and on a mission to reuse, re-purpose and re-work anything we can.
Custom and Bespoke Orders
We have had the absolute pleasure of creating beautiful and unique pieces for birthdays, weddings, celebrations and for memorials.
From bookmarks, keyrings and wood turned pen sets to bespoke bases from Moorcroft vases, ring boxes and personalised Christmas decorations.
It starts with an idea and a story and then the pieces come to life. If you are not entirely sure about what it is you are looking for, don’t worry. Some of our best makes have started with “I need a gift but I don’t know what!” We will work with you to create something beautiful.
